Discuss New Yorker Short Stories Meeting 18

Let's get together and discuss stories from recent issues of the magazine. If you don't subscribe, you can get the magazine online from your library using the "Libby" app or else listen to the podcast "The Writer's Voice" by The New Yorker.
Stories for this meeting will be from the September issues: Lub Dub Lub Dub Lub Dub by Helen Simpson (9/7), New Shoes by Hisham Matar (9/14), and Lost Child by Joyce Carol Oates (9/21). Join the discussion whether you read one or all.
Please register to join us at the venue - registration is free. We are in the Large Meeting Room on the 1st Floor. There is a small menu of snacks and beverages for sale on Saturday and sales benefit the Friends of the Alameda Library. I will bring a tray of cookies.
