Lotus Showcase

Join us to celebrate the filmmakers and artists behind Albuquerque’s independent film community!

Filmmakers Theodore Stroh-Willinghurst and Aster J. Brotman are currently preparing to direct their upcoming short films, Acquisition and My Heart Like the Wind. Before production begins, we wanted to bring together the people who will be helping us make them and give everyone a chance to share some of the work they’ve already created.

Throughout the event, we’ll be screening short films made by members of our cast, crews, and local filmmaking community. Come watch some great local work, meet the filmmakers behind it, and get to know the people who will soon be collaborating on our upcoming productions.

The event will also serve as a fundraiser for Acquisition and My Heart Like the Wind. We’ll have items for sale throughout the event, along with information about both films and links to our GoFundMe campaigns for anyone who would like to help support production.

Whether you’re screening something, joining one of our crews, supporting a friend, or just want to spend a night watching films made by Albuquerque artists, come hang out and help us send these two shorts into production!
