About This Event
Join us for the 2026 Accelerate ALX Showcase to meet the Alexandria tech founders shaping innovation in the region.
On December 9th, 10 Alexandria tech startups addressing challenges that affect issues as wide-ranging as data systems, privacy, and communities will showcase the progress they’ve made throughout the Accelerate ALX startup accelerator program.
Accelerate ALX is an Alexandria Economic Development Partnership (AEDP) program powered by FedTech, designed to provide Alexandria founders with the 1:1 mentorship, expert-led commercialization support, and warm introductions they need to scale.
The showcase brings together the investors, commercial partners, and leading industry, academic, and government organizations building opportunities for tech founders in the region. Plus, hear from City of Alexandria Mayor Alyia Gaskins on where Alexandria’s tech innovation ecosystem is headed next.
Alexandria sits inside one of the country's densest technology and defense corridors and is becoming one of Northern Virginia’s hubs for technology innovation.
Home to Virginia Tech’s Institute for Advanced Computing and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Alexandria is part of the new National Innovation Quarter in National Landing.
At this showcase, you’ll:
- See how Alexandria founders are solving problems in defense, aerospace, health tech, AI, and cybersecurity.
- Build and strengthen connections with regional investors, commercial partners, and federal agencies driving Alexandria’s growing innovation ecosystem.
- Engage early and learn more about upcoming tech startup programs, investor and cross-sector engagement opportunities.
