Join us for a hands-on session where you'll learn the basics of bookbinding! This in-person event is perfect if you want to get crafty, make your own journals, or just try something new. No experience needed — just bring your creativity!
About this event
By Sunday afternoon, you'll have a journal you bound yourself. Blake Brenneman walks you through the whole process: the parts of a book, how to prepare your materials, and how to sew a Coptic stitch. That stitch leaves the spine exposed and lets the book open flat.
All materials are provided. There's a $25 materials fee, paid to the instructor. Plan on a one-hour lunch break each day.
