Family Educational Nature Walk at Greeneyes Wildlife Preserve

Join Orange County’s Green PLACE Program for a family-friendly “What’s Underneath Your Feet?” educational walk at Greeneyes Wildlife Preserve on Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

Families and hikers of all skill levels are welcome. During the walk, participants will take a closer look at nature and learn about the plants, animals and natural features beneath their feet.

This walk is part of the first Green PLACE Hiking Spree. Attending the “What’s Underneath Your Feet?” educational walk can help you get closer to earning rewards for hiking Green PLACE properties. The Hiking Spree runs from National Public Lands Day, Sept. 26, 2026, to Earth Day, April 22, 2027.

The Green PLACE Hiking Spree is a great way to explore Orange County’s natural lands and learn more about local plants, wildlife and landscapes. To learn how to participate, visit the Green PLACE Hiking Spree webpage: https://www.ocfl.net/Environment/GreenPLACE/Discover.aspx.
