FloraBlitz at Greeneyes Wildlife Preserve

Join Orange County's Green PLACE Program and the Florida Native Plant Society for a FloraBlitz at Greeneyes Wildlife Preserve on Saturday, November 21, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. During this hands-on community science event, participants will help find and identify plant species at the preserve. Whether you are a plant expert or new to plant identification, the Green PLACE FloraBlitz is a chance to learn more about plants found in Central Florida while supporting conservation efforts. You never know what plant or wildflowers you may discover while exploring along the trails!

This FloraBlitz is part of the first Green PLACE Hiking Spree. Attending the Flora Blitz can help you work toward earning rewards for hiking Green PLACE properties. The Hiking Spree runs from National Public Lands Day, September 26, 2026, to Earth Day, April 22, 2027.
