Intro to Oils Workshop (Ages 18+) - 3 Sessions

Workshop: Intro to Oils (Ages 18+)

Students will gain an introduction to oil paints in this three-session workshop with local artist, Jonathan Ege. Students will learn about paint mediums, setting up a palette, basic color mixing, and composition with a focus on oils. Students will first complete a series of color-mixing exercises to learn about value, temperature, and intensity. After this, students will have the opportunity to work from a still life to learn how to complete an oil painting from start to finish.
