Have you ever wondered what happens when you give a thousand red wiggler worms your kitchen scraps? They can eat roughly half their body weight every day and turn it into vermicompost, a soil amendment so nutrient-dense that it makes store-bought fertilizer look like fast food. If you missed our first workshop on this topic in the spring, now is your chance to learn about and ask questions around vermicomposting! In this workshop, we'll teach you how to build and maintain your own worm bin, what to feed (and what to avoid), and how to harvest that black gold for your garden. No experience needed, just a willingness to get up close with some of nature's most underrated recyclers.
