Astronomy Nights: Comets, Asteroids, Meteoroids & Dwarf Planets
About This Event
5:30pm - 6:30pm - Denver Astronomical Society presents "Comets, Asteroids, Meteoroids & Dwarf Planets"
For thousands of years, comets have captivated humanity. Feared as harbingers of doom, celebrated as divine signs, and eventually understood as ancient, icy relics from the dawn of the Solar System. This presentation traces that remarkable journey from myth to modern science.
6:30pm - 8:30pm - Telescope viewing with telescopes from members of the Denver Astronomical Society
