The Inner Mujer Project’s Recuérdame: Remember Me is an intentional, community-centered gathering created to honor loved ones who have passed, celebrate the memories they leave behind, and connect through remembrance, culture, and community.
In honor of Día de Muertos, we’re creating a space for women to come together, remember the people and pets who have touched their lives, share stories, and make room for the love that continues even after loss.
Join us at Casa Santa Maria in Aurora, Illinois for an intimate evening of reflection, remembrance, and connection.
Throughout the evening, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Please bring a framed photograph of a loved one and/or pet who has passed away to place on our communal ofrenda. We want to create a shared space that honors the people and companions who remain a part of our stories and hearts.
We’ll have snacks and refreshments available for attendees to enjoy throughout the gathering.
The Inner Mujer Project creates spaces where women can show up as they are, connect with one another, and explore different parts of themselves through culture, reflection, spirituality, and community.
Our events are rooted in connection, belonging, and collective care. We welcome women who are open-minded, curious, and respectful of different experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives.
We recognize that grief and remembrance are deeply personal. Sharing is always an invitation, never an obligation. Whether you feel called to speak, listen, reflect, or simply be present, there is space for you here.
Tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Entry will only be permitted to ticketed guests.
This is an intentional, welcoming, and non-judgmental space. Disrespectful behavior, harassment, or bullying will not be tolerated and may result in being asked to leave.
Although the founders of The Inner Mujer Project are licensed therapists, this event is not a therapy session or a substitute for mental health treatment. The Inner Mujer Project is a community-centered brand that creates spaces for connection, reflection, cultural exploration, and collective care.
This gathering is not intended to provide psychotherapy, mental health counseling, clinical assessments, or individualized mental health treatment. Participation is voluntary, and attendees are welcome to share only what feels comfortable for them.
Our intention is to create a welcoming, respectful space for remembrance and connection, not to provide clinical care. Attendees who need mental health support are encouraged to seek services from a qualified mental health professional.
For the most recent updates about our events, announcements, and any important event information, follow us on Instagram and TikTok at @theinnermujerproject. We regularly share updates through our Instagram Stories, so be sure to check them for the latest information.
We can’t wait to gather with you, honor those we carry in our hearts, and create space for remembrance and connection.
With love,
The Inner Mujer Project
