About This Event

Welcome to an Alive + Well Space. This is a time we will collectively set aside to share in conscious agency–turn off phones, pause, and engage in presence, meditation, creativity and relaxation with you. Detach from the regular program and reclaim your soveriegn self.

Alive + Well curates intimate offerings designed for collective nervous system grounding, awakened creative senses, + deep self + social connection. Practices integrate creative expression + alternative embodied well-being modalities in intentional communal spaces.

Following a warm welcome and brief moment of introduction, you'll be thoughtfully guided by somatic wellness coach, theatre director, and meditation guide, Mari Travis, into an intentional flow of creative, self-reflective practices:

  • Welcome to the space
  • Body-scan meditation
  • Poetry writing practice + optional sharing
  • 5 Rhythms of Dance-inspired somatic practice
  • Rest + relax with a live sound healing journey
  • Reflections + refreshment

Led by a collective of professional, experienced + passionate well-being + arts practitioners

  • Lean into presence + connection
  • Explore embodied creative curiosities + liberate the imagination
  • Prioritize moments of stillness + rest
