Join our Naturalist on the observation deck for a bird’s eye view of fall migration. We'll be looking for migrating raptors and any passerines passing through. Marvel at the spectacular views of Broad-winged Hawk kettles as they fly over the sanctuary, Bald Eagles, and other raptors. Hawkwatches are scheduled for Thursdays, September 10, 17, and 24, and October 1, 8, 22, and 29 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Loaner binoculars will be available.
Note: a hawk watch day will be cancelled if there is rain, snow, or weather warnings.
COST: FREE. Donations greatly appreciated.
