How do you spell h-i-l-a-r-i-ty?
You’ll cheer and boo and laugh! You’ll enjoy food, drink and frivolity…
as teams of costumed adults vie viciously for the coveted trophy, with the help of our emcee Matt Raisman, The Big Bee from Biz-Bee, back by popular demand!
Doors open at 5:30 for no host cocktails, snacks and the opportunity to review the rules and get ready to cheer for your favorite team and vote for best team costume. At 6:30 we will adjourn to the theater to watch 4-person costumed teams of spellers compete in a wacky competition that is not your mother's spelling bee!
Audience participation is allowed - in fact, it's required!
This year we'll have eight participating teams, up from six last year - don't miss out!
Team applications will be ready to pick up at the front desk of the Copper Queen Library on Thursday, September 24, and the participating teams will be announced here on October 24.
