Friendsgiving Comedy: Ally J. Ward & Andy Iwancio @ The Comedy Lounge

Need a laugh right before or after the big family banquet? Or maybe you want to skip the family time altogether. Whether you're an orphan, living far from family, or just can't stand them, you are always invited to Friendsgiving. This queer-centered comedy show is a great way to get some of the best medicine in the world: laughter. And we have two masters of the art to administer your dose.

Ally J. Ward is a stand-up comedian, improviser, and storyteller out of Portland, Oregon. In 2024 she was named one of the "Hottest Queer Comedians of Today" by Out Magazine as part of their Big Happy Comedy Tour, and in 2025 Willamette Week named her Portland's Funniest Person. She has appeared at Bumbershoot and The Moth Grand Stage, hosted Dan Savage's HUMP film festival, and featured for Ian Karmel, Juno Birch, Gabriel Rutledge, Steve Hofstetter, Rachel Scanlon, and Rosebud Baker.

Andy Iwancio is a comedian from Seattle by way of Baltimore. Ten years in, she brings a witty, sardonic, and slightly profane style to jokes about marriage and disability. Her full-length album Better Living Through Femmistry was released on Kill Rock Stars in 2024, charting at #1 on both the iTunes and Amazon comedy charts. Her 2025 EP Old School for Burn This Records charted at #2 on iTunes and #1 on Amazon. She has opened for Kyle Kinane, Whitmer Thomas, James Adomian, Gareth Reynolds, Josh Gondelman, and Cameron Esposito.
