Kirtan with Mike Cohen & The Shakti Groove

Join us for an unforgettable evening of Kirtan on Saturday, November 14th at 7:30 PM at the beautiful Nevei Kodesh in Boulder!

Kirtan is more than music – it's a powerful practice that blends sacred mantra, rhythm, and community to open the heart and awaken the spirit. Through call-and-response chanting, drumming, and collective energy, we'll journey inward while lifting each other up in ecstatic joy.

Expect soulful melodies, high-energy grooves, and moments of deep stillness – all in a space of love, connection, and spiritual celebration. Whether you're a seasoned chanter or brand new to kirtan, you are warmly welcome. Come as you are and let your voice be part of something magical. Bring your voice, your heart, and your open spirit. Let's chant, dance, and rise together!

Our amazing band features: Mike Cohen - harmonium and vocals, Dawnia Dresser, Michele Heaphy - vocals, Ken Matarazzo - percussion, James Hoskins - cello, Bill McCrossen - bass
