we're celebrating our 4th year with a MASSIVE book exchange ! bring as many or as few books as you'd like, & leave with 3x as many
The BOOK CLUB FOR BOOK HOES has now completed it's FOURTH YEAR !!! That's wild, and we can't wait to celebrate with you all. Join us at BKLYN Commons in their massive event space for the biggest book exchange to date.
BOOK EXCHANGE:
Bring as many or as few books as you'd like in the following genres: fiction/lit fic, fantasy/romantasy, romance, thriller/sci-fi. We'll have tables set up through the entire event hall and you can drop your books off at each genre's table and then pick up as many books as you'd like throughout the night.
RAFFLE:
We will also have one of the largest raffles to date, with items from tons of bookish brands, gift cards, and other giveaways perfect for readers. Everyone's ticket includes a raffle ticket with your purchase that you'll receive at the door.
TICKETS:
ANNUAL TOTE TICKET ($40) - large tote bag with zipper pocket inside and zipper at top of tote (same tote as past three years), raffle ticket, and bookmark
SMALL TOTE TICKET ($35) - our smaller classic book club tote, raffle ticket, bookmark
GENERAL ADMISSION ($25) - raffle ticket, bookmark
WHAT TO EXPECT:
The main event hall will have tables for all the books so you can walk up and down the tables and collect as many books as you'd like. Up on the top overlook will be our raffle tables, where all the raffle items will be laid out and you can place your ticket (or tickets, if you purchase more) with the items you are interested in. If you bought a tote ticket (either tote), you can pick it up from the merch table, which will be close to the raffle table.
There will be a seating area, and a standing area for people to mix and mingle. The raffle will take place towards the end of the event. There will also be games you can play to win prizes throughout the night.
IMPORTANT INFO TO KNOW PRIOR TO PURCHASE:
Please be aware all tickets are final sale - no exchanges or refunds. Tickets are non-exchangeable between book clubs and events and are non-refundable.
Must be 21+ to attend.
This event will be photographed for promotional purposes. We take a group photo at the end of every book club (optional to be in), but photos are also taken during book clubs and events to promote the Book Club for Book Hoes on Instagram and TikTok. Photos are taken by both the organizer and by members who can take their own photos throughout our time together. If you do not wish to be photographed in the group photo, that is totally okay.
