Rec and Roll: Speed Book Recommending at Lofty Pigeon Books

Welcome to the rec room! Give and receive book recommendations with other book lovers in your community and have a recc-ing ball of a time.

Join us for Rec and Roll, a first-of-its-kind speed book recommending event, where you give and receive RECommendations before ROLLing on to the next person.

So check your shelf before you rec your shelf, and join us at REC AND ROLL!

How does it work?

Fill out a short questionnaire at the start of the event to give your fellow attendees an idea of what kinds of books you like and what you're looking for

Similar to speed dating, attendees will have a set amount of time to talk to each person and give and receive their recs before moving on

Write down your recommendations on your "Rec-ord" card and receive a personalized digital list of all your recommended titles from LPB after the event

What's included?

$15 admission (plus $2.85 Eventbrite fees) includes a $10 gift card to LPB, complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and snacks, your keepsake Rec-ord card, and your personalized digital recommendations list. There will be time for shmoozing and browsing at the end!
