BIPOC Mindfulness Creative Expression

You are warmly invited to join our BIPOC Community Gathering at the Los Angeles Shambhala Meditation Center, held on the first Sunday of each month from 2:00–4:00 PM PT.This is a dedicated space for people of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color communities to come together in genuine connection, reflection, and care. Together, we create an environment where our full human experience is welcomed—where we can be seen, heard, and supported with openness and respect. Our time together may include gentle sitting meditation, mindful movement, sound bath, tea ceremony, flower arranging, and creative expression through art and writing. These practices are offered as invitations to slow down, listen inwardly, and reconnect with our innate wisdom and dignity. At the heart of this gathering is a simple intention: to contemplate our true nature as human beings and to nurture kindness and compassion for ourselves and one another. No prior meditation experience is needed—just come as you are.We look forward to sharing this meaningful space with you.
