Turn a slab of clay into a mug that is completely your own.
Join us at Red Chair Farm in Canby for a relaxed, beginner-friendly Claydate where you’ll create a 16oz mug from start to finish. I’ll guide you step-by-step through building your mug, adding texture and details, and choosing a finish that makes it feel like yours.
No pottery experience? Perfect. This class is designed for people who want to try something creative without needing to already know what they’re doing.
Come with a friend, bring your mom, plan a date, or come on your own. Claydates are about more than making pottery, they’re a chance to slow down, laugh, connect and leave saying, “I can’t believe I made that.”
You’re also welcome to bring a small texture that you’d love to press into your clay: lace, leaves, fabric, stamps or another favorite pattern. Totally optional; I’ll have plenty to choose from.
Wear comfortable clothes and come ready to get your hands in clay. Everything else is provided.
Spaces are limited so everyone has room to work and gets plenty of hands-on guidance. If this sounds like your kind of Saturday afternoon, grab your spot and come create with us.
No experience needed. Just come ready to make something you’ll be proud to take home.
Gates open 30 min before class.
Refunds are available with at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the event, minus third-party ticketing fees. Please contact Lora at Hands On Art, Contact@HandsOnArt.Fun.
All participants will be required to sign a liability waiver upon arrival. Ages 15+ (minors must be accompanied with a parent/legal guardian).
