Unpretentious Palate's UPPY Awards

Join Unpretentious Palate in celebrating the best in Charlotte's food and beverage industry at the People of the Year Awards, or The UPPYs! The event will be held at Charlotte’s historic Visulite Theatre.

Tickets include an awards presentation, dinner, drinks (including craft cocktails by 2025 Mixologist of the Year Rhea Buck), and live music.

About the Awards: During the month of September, Unpretentious Palate asks its members to nominate the industry professionals they thought made a difference in Charlotte’s food scene this year. The top three finalists in each category will be announced soon and one winner from each of the categories will be announced live at the awards ceremony. Finalist tickets are provided courtesy of International Gourmet Foods.

Parking: There is free parking directly across the street from the venue. There is additional parking off of Travis Avenue the second entrance behind the theatre.
