Celebrate Día de los Muertos with a colorful, hands-on afternoon of sugar skull decorating, Mexican flavors, and a colorful history lesson about the Mexican tradition of Dia de los Muerto.
Led by Bebedero owner Chef Yuli, this class will introduce guests to the tradition and meaning behind Día de los Muertos and the beautifully decorated sugar skulls—or calaveras de azúcar—associated with the celebration. Chef Yuli will share her own memories and traditions of this ancient mesoamerican custom which celebrates ancestors and the cycle of life.
Each guest will decorate their own sugar skull using colorful icing and embellishments, with guidance and inspiration from Chef Yuli. Light snacks and drinks (featuring Bebedero’s signature margarita) will be served while you decorate, mingle, and learn.
Vegetarian and alcohol-free options are available.
