Feathers & Friends: Sketching Nature with Toni

Toni will share her step-by-step approach to capturing the details that bring birds to life on paper, from soft, fluffy feathers to a bright, expressive eye. Watch her work, learn simple techniques for shape, texture, and color, and then try them yourself with her guidance.

No experience is needed, just a love of birds and a willingness to have fun. Every participant will head home with their own finished bird drawing and the skills to keep sketching the feathered friends at their feeders. Space is limited, so reserve your spot now.

Antoaneta (Toni) Denkin is an author and illustrator of children's books. A graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) and the National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria, she has a background in fine art and has taken part in international fine art exhibitions. She now brings that training to her picture books, creating happy, whimsical illustrations full of emotion.

Her Lollipop's Little Ears series is about a little bunny with little ears, and it reminds children that they are one of a kind.
