About This Event

ABOUT THE BOOK

Two Former Teen Protagonists Who Saved the World now need to learn how to be adults—with adult feelings—in this witty, warm romantic fantasy.

Princess Elysande Sybilla Aurelion of Estrachia, Voice of the Thousand-Eyed Goddess, impulsively made a vow to her knight, Faron, at eighteen years old, under the secrecy of night and the thousand watchful eyes of her patron deity. To be fair, they expected to perish at the hands of a raging sorceress the next day—but then they didn’t.

Once she took the throne, everything changed. Ely and Faron agreed that they were too young and too important—as the now Queen and Knight Guardian—to be anything more. And with Ely’s responsibility as the new sovereign of her people, it was better to forget the whole thing than risk the kingdom’s newfound peace.

Ten years later, Ely finds herself needing to marry the prince of a neighboring territory for political advantage, and she discovers that she is, technically, married to her best friend. And the Goddess won’t let her out of her oath easily. Now, Ely and Faron must work together to seek the deity and break their vows in favor of the greater good—even if they risk rekindling a flame that never truly died.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Ivelisse Housman is the autistic, Puerto Rican-American author of books about magic and neurodivergence, including the Unseelie Duology and Til Quest Do Us Part. When she’s not writing, she’s starting a new crafting project, each cozier and more complex than the last. She lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains with her high school sweetheart/archnemesis and their rescue pets.

O'Junea Brown is an author of Romantasy and Dark Romance. She was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. She loves music, all things Marvel Comics, video games, and sports (go Cubs!). O'Junea loves an FMC that’s strong out the gate, as well as an MMC that’s not afraid to burn it all down for his woman. But she will always make sure to leave her readers with an HEA.
