Open Tabs Variety Hour

The cast of Open Tabs Comedy is writing a brand new sketch revue and needs YOUR help! Join us as we “take a shot” at creating new material. From stand-up, music, magic, and more, enjoy a night of live entertainment from Chicago’s comedy scene. Closing out the show, Open Tabs will improvise and test new sketches based on your suggestions. Maybe a scene you inspired will be in our next show!

Open Tabs was formed in January 2025 and created 9 shows based on Internet search histories as part of iO Sketch Playlist. We then moved to the Annoyance Theater for a 6-month run of Keepin’ Tabs, a monthly satire news show. We’re excited to perform at the Playground Theater, and hope to meet you soon! Visit us on Instagram @opentabscomedy to learn more about the team and find updates on who will be joining us for each show.
