About “Monster” Mike Cobb

At age seven, “Monster” Mike Cobb pledged his allegiance to the FUNK, the whole FUNK, and nothing but the FUNK! Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mike began his musical career recording and performing with some of the finest musicians in the tristate area. He later toured internationally with his childhood bass-playing idol, Bootsy Collins, serving as backup bassist, bandleader, and musical director. Now, the Monster is back onstage with a FUNKin’ All-Star cast of FUNKers, FUNKettes, ROCKers, and ROCKettes—assembled to spread a message of unity, love, and peace through the power of live music.
