Monthly Clearwater Beach Cleanup

We are partnering with the Ocean Conservancy to host the 2026 International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) with events taking place between September 1st and October 31st throughout Pinellas County. This annual event brings together volunteers in coastal regions to collect, count, and document the trash they find, acting as citizen scientists all over the world. The Ocean Conservancy then uses this data to study marine debris and release a yearly report detailing the most common types of trash found in coastal areas, the total weight of trash collected, and much more.

Ready to make an impact? Join Keep Pinellas Beautiful and the City of Clearwater each month at Clearwater Beach! Volunteers will assist with cleaning the beach and surrounding streets. SEE FULL EVENT DETAILS BELOW.

Please note: All participants must be registered. If your group has 10 or more volunteers, please notify Megan Jackson at mjackson@kpbcares.org before registering for this event.

Please note: Volunteers under the age of 18 need to be signed in by a parent or guardian. Volunteers under the age of 15 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the event.

Special Thank You to Our ICC Sponsors: Pinellas County, City of St. Petersburg, City of Largo, City of Clearwater, Surfing's Evolution & Preservation Foundation, Ron Jon Surf Shop and E&E Gliddon Home Services!
