This is a 3.5-hour-long hands-on workshop in the private setting of our home kitchen. We will teach you how to make delicious sourdough country breads at home. You will be guided through the process, from maintaining a sourdough starter to correct mixing, fermentation, shaping, scoring techniques, and baking in your home oven. You will mix and shape bread dough in class to bake at home the next day, and you will practice scoring on premade dough that we will bake in class. The class also includes an extensive bread tasting, a detailed handout, all ingredients, and tools. You will bring home a freshly baked bread, samples of the bread tasting board, plus a sample of our Sourdough starter to continue your baking journey.
We keep class sizes small (5-7 participants) for the best possible learning.
The total class fee is $140. A registration deposit of $50 will secure your seat in class.
Hands-on Sourdough class focused on European Rye Flour bread recipes. 4-hour-long class. Total Fee $160. A $50 deposit is due at sign-up.
