This class is limited to 12 participants per class. October 19 & 28 Apple Preservation classes are the same class, please only register for one class.
Preserving apples is a time-honored tradition that connects seasonal abundance to year-round nourishment. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn practical techniques for safely preserving apples at home, including water bath canning and discussion of freezing and dehydration.
In partnership between the El Paso County Conservation District and Colorado State University Extension, this class supports the revival of Colorado’s historic fruit tree culture while promoting sustainable land stewardship and water conservation.
