The Legal Ties That Bind LGBTQ+ Ohioans

Join The Buckeye Flame and law firm Cooper Elliott for a cocktail hour on Thursday, November 12 in Columbus.

Wearing a wacky tie is encouraged! And VERY much not required.

Ohio still has no statewide law protecting LGBTQ+ people from discrimination in housing, employment, or public accommodations — which makes knowing your rights more important than ever. A few Ohio experts will share what’s actually happening in Ohio law right now: the headlines, the cases, and what they mean for our community. Then we’ll set the legal talk aside for the good part — good drinks, good company, and time with the people who make this community what it is.

Come for the legal update, stay for the community. Complimentary food and drinks are on us, with generous sponsorship by Renewal by Anderson.

Registration is required (and free!).
