Davidson Lands Tree Store

Davidson Lands is launching a TREE STORE this fall. A tree store is a program where residents can adopt a 7 gal native tree to plant around their home in Davidson. We have purchased 100 native trees and it is first come, first serve. We have a variety of tree types available. We have White Oaks, Red Maples, American Hollys, Arborvitae, Eastern Redbuds, Serviceberry, and Southern Magnolias. If you would like to participate, please fill out this form. Please research the mature size and optimal planting location for the trees before you request one. There is only one tree per household.

Please remember the following:

• At this time, trees are only available to Davidson residents and all participants will need to show proof of residency at pick-up.
• Trees are limited to one per household.
• All participants will need to sign a Care Pledge at pick-up.
• All participants need to be able to pick-up the tree on Saturday, October 24th at Fisher Farm Park and stay for a short training on planting.
• Each participant also receives a free bag of mulch.

Care Pledge:

The trees I plant are being provided by Davidson Lands Conservancy to benefit the community. I understand that the trees are provided “as is”, and Davidson Lands Conservancy is not responsible for the planting, condition, or care of the trees. All trees must be planted within the Town of Davidson town limits. My signature below affirms my pledge to make best efforts to plant trees correctly and in the proper locations, and to care for my trees, including protecting, mulching, and watering them. I grant Davidson Lands Conservancy and its partners rights to take and use photos and video of myself and my party, including minors, without compensation.

A portion of the funding for this program is thanks to a generous grant from the Town of Davidson.
