Walk and Talk

Good Company. Fresh Air. Better Questions.

Join Culture and Company and Function Health for a Saturday morning Walk & Talk at Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook.

For October, we’re taking our conversation outside. This gathering will be intentionally less programmed than our usual events.

Together with Function Health, we’ll also explore the role of health data and proactive testing, and how having more information can help us ask better questions and become better advocates for ourselves.

Two Function Health memberships will also be raffled off to attendees.

Timeline:

9:30 AM | Arrive + Meet
Please plan to arrive by 9:30 AM. We’ll meet down by the sign near the fruit vendors before getting started.

9:45 AM | Start the Walk
We’ll head out on the trail and walk in pairs, with a few conversation prompts along the way.

At the Top | Pause + Connect
The walk up takes approximately 20 minutes. We’ll pause at the top for a quick group touch base and conversation before continuing the walk back down.

The Trail
The route is approximately 1.4 miles. It will take a total of 50 minutes. We’ll be taking the trail and will not be climbing the stairs.

Come Prepared

Wear comfortable shoes and bring water, sunscreen, and a hat. We’ll be outside for the morning, so come ready to walk and enjoy the fresh air.

Parking is limited to street parking and metered parking, so please read the signs in the area. The Expo Line is also within walking distance of the trail.
