Join Old Dogs New Digs on Sunday, November 15, from 1:30–4:00 p.m. at the West Cumberland Community Hall for an afternoon of creativity and seasonal fun.
Participants will make a custom evergreen swag approximately (typical size 2.5–3.5 feet long, size can vary depending on how full you want it). All materials are provided, and no experience is necessary. If you have your own hand pruners or branch clippers, please bring them along; we'll have some available to share as well.
The workshop will be taught by Tammy Merrill, who brings decades of floral and holiday decorating experience. Tammy has worked as an event floral designer for Harmons & Bartons and Sawyer & Co., owned her own wedding floral business, FRESH, for 10 years, and grew up creating holiday decorations at the beloved Allen's Farm.
Cost is $35 to make one swag or $60 to make two swags (made by the same participant). All proceeds benefit Old Dogs New Digs and help senior dogs find safety, comfort, and loving homes.
We recommend any children be 12+ to make their own , with an adult in attendance.
