Paint Night at Swami Juice: Inside the Lines or Outside the Lines

Swami Juice is part juice bar, part art studio, in the same room. Three nights a week the stools turn into easels.

Two kinds of night. Pick yours when you book.

Inside the Lines: guided. The picture is already drawn on your canvas by hand; you bring the color. Perfect if a blank canvas scares you.

Outside the Lines: free paint. A theme, a blank canvas, and nobody telling you what to do with it.

Thursdays lean free paint, Fridays lean guided, Saturdays are a mix. Any night, you pick.

Every week has a theme

Thursdays: Market Day (still life: fruit, vegetables and mushrooms)

Fridays: Surf Report (surfing and beach life)

Saturdays: Deep Blue (sea creatures)

Opening night, Sunday Nov 1: Deep Blue, the sea turtle.

Pick your canvas (sets your seat price and how long you paint)

Study 12x16: about 1.5 hrs, $35

Showpiece 16x20: about 2 hrs, $45

Masterpiece 18x24: about 3 hrs, $60

Every seat includes a drink from the bar. Canvas, paint, brushes and an apron.

It's a juice bar, so the sips are colorful juices, teas and lattes, and people actually finish their paintings.

Six seats a night. It's the bar, so it stays small, and you actually get help when you want it.
