Coffee + Convo with Janette Orona

This low-key morning meetup is designed to make a big impact on your business tool-kit. Start with a quick intro, dive into a topic or guiding question, and tap into insights from both the mentor and peers. Each session is unique, reflecting the expertise of our mentors and the needs of attendees.

What happens when the standard small business playbook doesn’t work for your business? Strategies like collecting reviews, raising prices, hiring a team, or scaling services are common recommendations for growth—but they aren’t always practical, appropriate, or aligned with the realities of every business.

For some entrepreneurs, professional ethics, confidentiality, accessibility commitments, industry requirements, or other constraints shape what’s possible. For others, traditional strategies may simply not align with their values, clients, capacity, or the kind of business they want to build.

In this Coffee + Convo, we’ll explore practical alternatives and discuss what it can look like to build a sustainable business when traditional advice doesn’t fit your reality.
