Networking Night: Freelancers (Baker)

Welcome to Mingle Denver's Networking Nights, a series of focused professional networking events built around specific industries, business models and professional communities. Instead of trying to meet everyone in Denver at once, each event brings together people with more in common, so it's easier to find relevant collaborators, referrals, clients and business connections. This one is for freelancers.

EVENT DETAILS:
🗓️ Monday, November 2
⏱️ 6:00 PM–8:30 PM
📍 Adventure Time Bar, 101 Broadway #9, Denver, CO 80203 (Baker)

🍸 Every guest gets a complimentary cocktail from Adventure Time

This time we're taking over Adventure Time Bar, a rotating-theme cocktail bar in Baker, and they're opening on a Monday just for our group.

Networking That Gives You Something to Talk About

🤝 Give + Get Introductions
Share what you do and what kind of client, collaborator or referral would help you most right now.
⚡ Rapid Connections
Meet several people through short conversations, then circle back to the ones you want to explore further.
🔁 Referral Partners
Freelancers send each other work all the time. A designer meets a copywriter. A developer meets a marketer. A photographer meets a brand strategist.
💡 Ask the Room
Bring a real freelance challenge: pricing, finding clients, contracts, slow months. Someone in the room has probably been there.

Use the Mingle Barter Board

The Mingle Barter Board is our online service exchange where local professionals post what they can offer and what they need.

Check in with our host at the outdoor bar top when you arrive. No polished pitch or business cards needed. Come curious and leave with two or three people you actually want to talk to again.

🅿️ Street parking: the best spots are along 1st Ave. If you plan to drink, please use rideshare or transit.
