Get creative with your family and make lasting memories in this guided paint workshop! Paint a peaceful cat by the windowsill as our teaching artist, Daisy Velasco, guides you step by step in a fun and welcoming environment.

Designed for families, kids, and beginners, this workshop is perfect for all skill levels, and no prior painting experience is needed. All painting materials are included – just come ready to have fun and get creative!

Recommended for ages 5+.

What is Family Paint Day?

Family Paint Day is more than just an art class. It’s a chance to slow down and spend time quality together. In a world filled with busy schedules and screen time, this workshop invites families to stay connect through creativity and shared memories.

One ticket includes:

• One 12x16" canvas
• All paint materials
• Step-by-step guidance from a live artist
• Light snacks and refreshments

Schedule:

Doors Open | 11:30am
Settle in and enjoy complimentary snacks and juice.

Painting | 12:00 – 1:30pm
Live step-by-step art instruction to create your own masterpiece.

Meet your teaching artist

Daisy Velasco is a first-generation Mexican-American painter from La Puente, CA. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from California State University, Long Beach, where she specialized in drawing and painting. She currently teaches after-school youth art classes with Stay Arts.
