Comfort Food and Conversations

November is Veterans Day month, and this time we’re celebrating us.

Too often, women veterans get overlooked at the very events meant to honor service. People assume the uniform belonged to our husband. We get thanked for “supporting” someone else’s service. Not this time.

Comfort Food & Conversations is a free lunch designed for and centered on women veterans, along with the spouses and partners of active duty service members, who carry their own kind of service. Come eat, laugh, swap stories, and sit with women who get it without you having to explain.

There’s no agenda to perform and no speech to sit through. Just good food, real conversation, and a room full of women who’ve been there.

Who it’s for:

Women veterans of every branch, era, and discharge

Spouses and partners of active duty military

What to expect:

Free comfort food lunch

Relaxed, welcoming conversation

Community and connection with other women who’ve served or stood beside someone who did

Come as you are. Bring a friend who needs this. Your seat is saved.
