Dance Blues Friday - 1st and 3rd Fridays

Join us for an electrifying evening of dancing at Triangle Dance Studios (TDS) on 1st and 3rd Fridays of every month, starting at 7:00 PM! Get ready to groove to the irresistible beats of blues music and let loose on the dance floor.

What is Blues Dancing? Blues dancing is a dance style deeply rooted in blues music and Black American history, starting in late 1800s along side regional blues music. It encompasses various styles, often characterized by its improvisational nature, close connection with a partner or solo, and expressive movements that mirror the emotions of the blues. Blues dancing focuses on rhythm, musicality, and connection, allowing dancers to interpret and respond to the music in a personal and emotive way.

Whether you're an experienced dancer or a beginner looking to have some fun, this event is perfect for all skill levels. Our instructors will be there to guide you through the steps and help you improve your dance moves.

Bring your friends along and enjoy a night filled with laughter, great music, and amazing company. Dance Blues Friday is the ideal way to kick off your weekend and let loose after a long week.

Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to connect with fellow dance enthusiasts and experience the joy of blues dancing. Mark your calendars and we'll see you at Triangle Dance Studios on the First and Third Fridays!
