The Madbury Death Cafe is held the third Monday of Each month at the Madbury Public Library from 6:00-7:00 pm. It has been established for people to freely talk about what so many people consider taboo or morbid: Death.
Talking about death can certainly be a party killer, but that shouldn't mean it can never be brought up. Death is a part of life, and talking about it won't make it happen, just like talking about exercising doesn't make you lose weight. (If it did, how fit we would all be!) Attendees bring questions, poems, book, movie and podcast suggestions, along with their own topics, questions, and ponderings for meaningful and deep discussions.
The space is held for sharing vulnerable experiences, insightful musings and occasionally, real time laughter.
And bonus, there will always be cake!!
