XChange Open Mic & Slam ATL Qualifier.

A celebration of voice, story, and sound

Step into the spotlight at XChange Open Mic, a welcoming space for all forms of artistic expression. Whether you’re a poet, comedian, musician, storyteller, or creative shapeshifter, this mic is for you.

There will be a short open mic followed by a poetry slam to qualify for Slam ATL $50 first place.

🗓 Time: Sign-ups & gathering begin early | Mic goes live at 8:00 PM

For the Slam: Poets have 3 minutes with a 10 second grace period. No Musical accompaniment, no props, original work.

a qualified slammer:
- has at least 3 unique poems to perform or compete with
- would be able to commit to a finals in January
- is willing to collaborate in a team environment to develop group poems
- has the bandwith to meet regularly if you make the team
- can take off work/ responsibilities June 9-12 to attend the Southern Fried poetry slam
