Originally, DEATH BY DENIM was destined to take place inside the infamous De Soto Hotel.

The location was abandoned, dark, mysterious and exactly the kind of place this show was born for. We submitted a Temporary Use Permit with plans to bring the fashion, the fire and the after-dark energy into the legendary space.

But then… HIGHER POWERS INTERVENED

The City of El Paso determined that the De Soto is currently unfit for use, even as a temporary event venue or location, making our original sanctuary off limits. But what if the city wasn’t the ONLY ENTITY that did not want us inside the De Soto Hotel.

Maybe the spirits weren’t ready for a runway.
Maybe we were being redirected somewhere we would ACTUALLY BE SAFE!!

We FOUND ANOTHER SANCTUARY…

This Halloween, DEATH BY DENIM moves into an ACTUAL ABANDONED CHURCH at 605 S. Kansas St. where fashion, darkness, fire and the unknown collide.️

From 9:11–11:11 PM, witness the FINALE OF DEATH BY DENIM: The SANCTUARY FASHION SHOW as denim takes over the church and the runway becomes a resurrection.

Then, at 11:11 PM, the sanctuary transforms into the AFTER PARTY until 2:22 AM, featuring LIVE FIRE DANCERS, DJ Ro @dj___ro of House of Lions while serving yourself with our thoughtful BYOB option for your pleasure and preference!
