Trinket Swap

How it works: You get a name tag, a place-card, and a spot at a table. Set out your smalls, then go wander. Find something you want? The place-card tells you whose it is. Go find them and ask. (They can say yes. They can say no. Saying no is allowed and encouraged, and nobody takes it personally.) And even if you don't get the trinket you want, you may make a friend!

Bring Trinkets. Trade Trinkets. Join a roomful of other miniature enthusiasts, vintage smalls lovers, and the best kind of weirdos. Bring small things you're ready to move into the world, and hunt for new treasures to take home. Bring 2 objects or bring 50. The smaller, the better! No money exchanged.

We will contact attendees before the event to confirm attendance. Please ensure your contact information is accurate when completing your order.

Please note: This event does not take place inside the Office of Collecting & Design museum. Museum admission is separate, and tour tickets may be purchased here. Museum tours are available October 21–25, with visits scheduled between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
