The Upsides to Downsizing: A Local Expert Panel

Thinking about downsizing but not sure where to start?

Downsizing involves a lot more than selling your home. There are financial decisions to consider, financing options to understand, years of belongings to sort through and plenty of questions about what to do first.

We've brought together a panel of local experts for a practical, no-pressure conversation about the decisions that come with downsizing.

What we'll talk about

During this free, one-hour workshop, we'll cover:

• Preparing your home to maximize its value

• Financial considerations before and after a move

• Financing options for your next home

• Decluttering, organizing and deciding what to do with years of belongings

• Making the moving process easier and less overwhelming

• Creating a plan, even if you're not ready to move yet

Most importantly, we'll leave plenty of time for your questions.

You don't need to be ready to move

Maybe you're hoping to downsize this year. Maybe you're thinking it could happen in two or three years. Or maybe you're simply wondering what your options are.

This workshop is designed for all of those situations.

The earlier you understand your options, the more time you have to make decisions on your terms.

Come with questions. Leave with information, local resources and a clearer idea of what your next steps might look like.

The workshop is free, but advance registration is requested.
