Housing instability affects Veterans and families across our community—and addressing it takes all of us. Join Connecting Georgia Veterans for our Q4 Housing Summit and Homelessness Forum on Monday, November 2, 2026, at American Legion Post 29 in Marietta.

This gathering is an opportunity for service providers, community leaders, advocates, and neighbors to connect, share perspectives, and strengthen the partnerships that help people find and maintain stable housing. Whether you work directly in housing services or simply want to help, we encourage you to attend and bring your voice to the conversation.

Honor In Action. With over 40,000 veterans living in Cobb County alone, it is critical that our community come together to uplift veteran support services and programs so no veteran or their family is left behind.

Connecting Georgia Veterans (CGV) Strategy Team convenes quarterly in-person meetings for a wide range of stakeholders who serve veterans in Cobb County, from the boots on the ground efforts to the policy level decision makers. Together, this group aims to raise awareness of the challenges veterans face, share veteran resources and services that exist in our community and statewide, identify gaps to determine needs or programs, and coordinate best practices to remove barriers and create more opportunities for the veterans in our communities.

Join us at our next meeting to share your updates, advocate for others, and make your voice heard!

Who is this event for: Meetings are open to any organizations and individuals who serve veterans in Cobb County and across the state of Georgia. We encourage any interested individual, group, or member to check out a meeting and see if it’s the right place for you. Want more information?
