Build Your Career: Construction and Trades Job Fair

The Build Your Career: Construction and Trades Job Fair is BACK! Come meet employers and training providers to help you further your construction and trades career goals! You'll have the opportunity to talk about your career interests and ask employers questions. We recommend bringing multiple copies of your resume and dressing in business casual or business attire. For resume help, visit How to Write an Effective Resume or schedule an appointment with a Fairfax County employment specialist at Fairfax County Employment Resource Centers.

We’ll also host two info sessions on:

· Transitioning Your Career to Construction: 1:30 PM - 2:15 PM

For career switchers and seasoned professionals interested in learning about careers they can transition to in construction.

· Getting Started in Construction: 2:45 PM - 3:30 PM

For people starting out their careers who would like to learn more about entry-level roles in construction and trades.

We will update this page with a list of employers who will be in attendance as they sign up. If you are an employer and you would like to participate, please email DFSEmployerEngagement@fairfaxcounty.gov.
