Experience classical music in a whole new way!

Join NYS Baroque for a special evening of live music featuring Quartet Novalis, an exciting young string quartet from New York City bringing fresh energy and imagination to works by Fanny Mendelssohn, Dvořák, Mozart, and Puccini.

Whether you're a lifelong classical music enthusiast or simply curious to experience something new, this free concert offers a wonderful opportunity to hear extraordinary musicians up close in a welcoming, intimate setting.

Made up of Eliana Estrada, Ela Kodžas, Annemarie Schubert, and Luka Stefanović, Quartet Novalis is redefining the traditional string quartet experience. Describing themselves as musical time travelers, these four exceptionally talented musicians explore how music was originally heard and performed, using historical instruments and centuries-old performance traditions to reveal new colors, emotions, and expressive possibilities in familiar and lesser-known works.

Presented through NYS Baroque Young Artists, this concert is part of an initiative dedicated to supporting the next generation of professional musicians. Selected through a competitive application process, these accomplished emerging artists receive paid professional performance opportunities and personalized mentorship as they build their careers. The program also brings exceptional chamber music into communities throughout Central New York, making high-quality live performances accessible to new and returning audiences alike.

We are delighted to bring this special performance to the greater Syracuse community and invite music lovers of all ages and backgrounds to discover the beauty, excitement, and timeless appeal of live chamber music.

No tickets required, no admission fee, and no prior knowledge of classical music needed. Just come as you are, bring a friend, and enjoy an evening of remarkable music!

The concert will last approximately one hour, without intermission. Admission is free and open to the public.
