Participants in this two-session class will expand their experiences with Fair Isle knitting by creating a pair of mittens. The first class will look at the anatomy of a mitten and show how to create the thumb gusset and set up the patterns for the mitten. The second session includes tips and tricks as participants move farther along with their mittens, including looking at the difference between the right one and the left one. Each class includes plenty of practice/knitting time. Before the first class, participants should knit the cuff of the first mitten in their choice of one or more colors following the instructions provided by the instructor upon registration in the class.
There are TWO sessions for this class, Oct 24th and Oct 31st both 1:30-3:30
