Arlington Heights 50K
A free community ultramarathon through the heart of Arlington Heights.
Join us for the Arlington Heights 50K, a community-supported endurance event designed for runners who want to challenge themselves, push their limits, and spend a Saturday pursuing something difficult alongside others.
This event is built around a full 50-kilometer (31.1 mile) run, with shorter distance options available for friends, family members, and community participants who want to join the experience without tackling the entire distance.
Whether you're training for your first ultra, preparing for a marathon season, or simply looking for an unforgettable day in the running community, we'd love to have you.
What do I owe? NOTHING, if you feel like donating, please consider donating to Mission of Hope (They support communities in Haiti & Dominican Republic. See their QR code at the bottom!).
Unlike a traditional race, the Arlington Heights 50K is designed to feel more like a gathering than a competition.
Runners will complete a looped course through Arlington Heights with access to a fully stocked aid station throughout the event. Friends, family, neighbors, and shorter-distance participants are encouraged to join the atmosphere and celebrate alongside the runners.
As the morning progresses, the event transforms from a long run into a community gathering with coffee, food, music, and plenty of encouragement for those finishing the 50K.

The Arlington Heights 50K exists to create something that feels increasingly rare:
A local event where people voluntarily choose a difficult challenge, support one another, and celebrate together afterward.
No prize money.
No elite field.
Just a group of people pursuing endurance, community, and a memorable Saturday together in Arlington Heights.
