About This Event

Join Natural Restorations, the U.S. Forest Service Tonto National Forest, Arizona State Parks & Trails, Copperstate 4Wheelers, & TRAL for the 17th annual Four Peaks & Sugar Loaf Cleanup Event.

Explore Four Peaks and Sugar Loaf, picking up trash from the trails, parking areas and cacti replanting area.

Volunteers with OHV’s & 4x4’s: if you have an OHV or 4X4, we need your help running the trails at Four Peaks & Sugar Loaf to pick up trash. If you have a truck or trailer, we could use your help hauling loads of trash to the dumpsters. Please bring sturdy leather work gloves.

Non OHV/4-Wheel Drive Volunteers: You do not need an OHV (off-highway vehicle)or 4x4 to participate, the road to the sign-in table is graded but wash boarded so drive slowly & carefully. There are plenty of areas within walking distance of the parking corral that need our help.

Sign-in: 8-8:30 a.m. | Safety Briefing: 8:30 a.m. | Cleanup starts: after safety briefing | Cleanup ends, Free Lunch, & Raffle: 12:00p.m.

Directions: Four Peaks is east of Bush Highway on the Bee-line Highway on the way to Payson. You will see a green sign that says Four Peaks with a right turn arrow and we will have a Natural Restorations Volunteer Event sign at the turn off. Make a right onto Cline Cabin/4 Peaks Road. Drive past the open gate onto the dirt road and follow the road to the main staging area. Make the first right into the main staging area, you will see flags, signs, and shade tents. We will have someone helping direct traffic. Watch out for volunteers and drive with caution.

Once you park, please walk over to the tents where we will have a walk-up registration. Everyone will be required to fill out or turn in a Natural Restorations liability waiver to participate, this is also where you will pick up supplies. After you turn in your paperwork/sign-in and grab supplies, everyone will hang out in the main staging area until the safety briefing & game plan for the morning at 8:30am.
