Ever wished you could speak up with more confidence, at work, in a meeting, or when telling your own story? Join Toastmasters clubs from across the East Bay for a free evening.

Featured speaker: Santosh Kumar

Santosh Kumar is an award-winning speaker and storyteller. He won the District 101 International Speech Contest, took 1st place in KALW 91.7 FM's Open Mic competition, and has been a featured storyteller and speaker at The Marsh, The Moth, and Radio Zindagi FM. His talk is "The Noise Within: The Courage to Stop Running." Through a deeply personal journey of childhood adversity, addiction, recovery, and healing, Santosh shares how finding the courage to face our struggles can transform our lives.

• Learn what Toastmasters is and how a meeting works, with presenter Tracy Holmes
• Ask experienced members anything about speaking and leadership, in a panel facilitated by Dr. Jeff Levine with Manjit Gill and Tiffany Dawn Jones
• Take home a guide to 19 local clubs in Alameda, San Leandro, Castro Valley, Hayward, Union City, Newark and Fremont
